The idea was a lovely picnic, sitting on the picnic rug with champagne -
we managed some very nice (soggy) food and hot chocolate...
We all had a wet time (whether on horseback or not) at Chatsworth bravely celebrating Liz Stoppards last few days as a spinster!

These photos really don't show the true state of the soggy jodphurs, the inch of water in the boots and the horses all tucked up nice and dry in their boxes whilst we stood in the rain eating soggy sandwiches!!!
